This program prepares you for a management role in tourism and hospitality by providing essential knowledge and practical skills. The opportunity to study in Malta allows you to learn within a thriving tourism economy. The curriculum includes core modules and specialized electives. You’ll first study key strategic areas like finance, marketing, and human resources. The core courses are designed to teach you how to solve real-world business problems and seize opportunities using tools relevant to the industry.

Upon successful completion of this MQF Level 7 (90 ECTS) qualification, graduates will be equipped for a wide range of leadership and management roles. Please note that this programme does not lead to a warranted or regulated profession.

Hospitality Management: Hotel Manager, Duty Manager, Casino Manager
Tourism & Travel Management: Manager in Travel Agencies, Tourism Companies, or Destination Management Companies (DMCs)
Event & Experience Management: Events Manager, Roles within Cruise Liners and Theme Parks
Business Development: Business Development Executive in tourism-related industries
Administrative Leadership: Office Manager or Administrator within hotels, travel agencies, or DMCs
This qualification is awarded by eie European Business School and is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA). MFHEA deems this Master to be at MQF Level 7 (90 ECTS) of the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
1. Bachelor's degree: Students need to hold a bachelor's degree at MQF level 6 or an equivalent qualification.
OR
2. Age and Managerial Experience: If a student does not have a bachelor's degree but holds other qualifications, they must be at least 25 years of age and over, and have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience proved by written evidence. This experience should demonstrate a level of responsibility and leadership that is equivalent to that gained from completing an undergraduate degree.
AND
3. English Language Proficiency: All applicants, regardless of their background or nationality, must demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Applicants whose native language is not English must provide evidence of their English proficiency through an internationally recognised English language test such as IELTS (score of 6.5) or equivalent.
